Gary A. Kraut is president of G. A. Kraut Company, Inc., New York City, a global investor relations consulting firm he started in 1969. G.A Kraut Company Inc. is believed to be the world’s oldest independent global IR counseling firm.
Mr. Kraut served as a director of the National Investor Relations Institute and is among the organizers of the International Investor Relations Association.
He is a founding partner of GovernanceMetrics International, the corporate governance rating agency, a founder of bigdough.com, the world’s most complete database of institutional money managers and Senior Advisor to the Board of General Solutions, Tokyo. He is founder of The Professor’s Fund, a Boston based educational foundation that rewards college professors for teaching excellence.
Mr. Kraut is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute, The National Association of Corporate Directors, the Foreign Policy Association and The Duke Ellington Society. He belongs to the Princeton Club, New York City, the Coffee House, New York and St. Botolph’s Club, Boston. He resides with his wife in Greenwich, Connecticut.
