Anthony C. Hooper is President, Americas, for Bristol-Myers Squibb Company.
Mr. Hooper received his M.B.A. in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of South Africa. He joined BMS as a General Manager, BMS Australia/New Zealand in 1996. He was then promoted to Managing Director, United Kingdom and Ireland, followed by his role of Vice President and General Manager for Northern Europe. In 2001 Tony became President, Asia-Pacific, Middle East & Southern Africa, International Medicines. From 2001 to 2002, he was President, Intercontinental, International Medicines. In 2002 to 2004, Tony was President, Europe, ME & Africa, Worldwide Medicines Group. Presently, Tony is President, US Pharmaceuticals, Worldwide Medicines Group.
Prior to joining BMS, Tony was the Assistant Vice President of Marketing for Wyeth Laboratories International. He also worked for Lederle International in New Jersey, Lederle Laboratories in South Africa and South African Cyanamid Pty. Ltd.
Mr. Hooper is an active member in a number of non-profit associations. He resides in Hopewell, New Jersey with his wife, Norma and two children.
